Open Circle
An open circle is held each week on a Monday, beginning at 7.30 pm and all are welcome to attend, whether they attend any of the church services or not. It is important to arrive in time because the doors are locked at 7.30 pm to avoid disturbances once the circle has commenced sitting.
The circle opens with a prayer and the Lord's prayer. Then the circle leader will take the circle through the opening up process - by describing each of the seven Chakras from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Next, he will take the circle on a guided meditation, which will last for about 10-15 minutes, before bringing the circle back out. Once everyone has returned from their meditation journey, the circle is declared to be open and each person takes it in turn to share all that they have seen and heard during the meditation. Following this, members of the circle may give clairvoyant messages that they have received. At the end of the circle, the higher vibration is put to good use to send out healing thoughts to all those who are in need, and names will be given by the circle for healing. Then the circle leader will ensure that everyone is closed down in the correct way, by reversing the details of the Chakras. After this, there is a closing prayer.
Many stay and chat for a short time after the circle has finished for the evening, but some leave straight away. The important thing is that all are made welcome and the atmosphere is always friendly and uplifting.
